Journal of Islamic Studies is now being indexed by Scopus

The prestigious scientific indexing database Scopus has started to index the Journal of Islamic Studies. This significant development will greatly enhance the international scientific contributions and visibility of our journal.

The Journal of Islamic Studies, initiated by the Turkey Diyanet Foundation's Center for Islamic Studies (İSAM) in 1997 and published biannually (January and July) since 2001, is a peer-reviewed and academic journal. The journal publishes original research articles, research notes, review articles, and book introductions in the fields of Islamic sciences and the history of Islamic culture and civilization. Additionally, symposium evaluations and memorial articles are also published.

The Journal of Islamic Studies is indexed by ULAKBIM TR Index, Scopus, Index Islamicus, Modern Language Association Database, ATLA Religion Database, and ERIH PLUS.
