YADEP is a training program which is conducted during spring-summer terms within the scope of the Researcher Training Project (AYP). It aims to contribute participants&nbsp;through educational seminars, research opportunities, and introduce them to the academic environment of İSAM.

Initiated in 2016 by the Turkey Diyanet Foundation&#39;s İSAM (İslam Araştırmaları Merkezi), YADEP was originally designed for research assistants from newly established theology faculties outside Istanbul. It was later expanded to include other researchers as well.

About

ISAM accepts applications for the program every spring-summer. Apart from the announced application periods, invidual applications are not accepted. The program is for researchers pursuing a doctoral study in Theology and Islamic Sciences.

General Information About Applications

1. The program is aimed at researchers pursuing a doctoral studies in Theology and Islamic studies. 
2. Applications from individuals who have previously participated in this program or do not have a doctoral registration are not accepted. 
3. Applications are received electronically through the application form within the specified dates mentioned in the announcement. Individual applications outside the stated dates will not be considered. 
4. The applicants will be received an-email regarding their applications. 
5. The applicant&#39;s purpose for participating in the program, academic studies and curiosity related to their field, and the contributions they expect from the program should be clearly expressed in the statement of purpose. 2 pages. 
6. The Academic CV must present the applicant&#39;s personal and professional status, educational background, and academic achievements, and it should include a passport-sized photograph. 
7. Candidates are responsible for managing the necessary procedures related to their institutions for program participation. 
8. Seminars are generally planned to take place at ISAM campus from 09:00 to 18:00 on weekdays. 
9. ISAM provides free lunch to participants in its cafeteria throughout the program. 
10. During the program, participants are entitled to up to 1,000 free photocopies or PDF scans. 
11. Participants who regularly attend seminars and fulfill seminar requirements during the program are awarded the Program Participation Certificate.
