al-Jamiʿ al-Musnad as-Saḥīḥ al-Mukhtasar min Hadith Rasulullahi Sallallāhu ʿalaihi wa Sallam Saḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (Facsimile and Critical Essays), I-II

Abū Abdullah Muhammed Ibn Ismāil al-Bukhārī (d. 256/870).

Imam Bukhari’s hadith work al-Cāmiʿu’s-Sahīh recognized in the name of Sahīh al-Bukhari, is the oldest and full-text copy of the manuscript in the world, discovered intact. Second edition of this work published as facsimile edition within the scope of Early Classical Period Project of Centre for Islamic Studies and with the cooperation of Manuscript Institution of Turkey.

Facsimile Edition of Sahīh al-Bukhārī is published in two volumes, based upon the manuscript catalogued in Suleymaniye Library (Murad Molla, no. 577).

Sahīh al-Bukhārī’s narrative of Abū Dhar al-Harewī (D. 434/1043) reached through “Bācī-Sadefī” and the transcript was copied in 550 (1155) using maghrip calligraphy. It is emphasized that the transcript compared with reliable copies of the work and has Andalusian scholar Abu Abdullah Muhammed Ibn Yūsuf Ibn Saāde’s(d. 565/1170) writing on it.  With the fall of this copy reached first to North Africa and then to Egypt by the efforts of Ottoman scholar Musannifaq (d. 875/1470) to Istanbul. Musannifaq copy of Sahīh al-Bukhārī first donated to Sahn al-Semān madrasa and was lost for a time and in late 12th century (18th) century registered to Murad Molla library.
