The era of Prophet Muhammad has an incommensurable importance in the history of Islamic thought and civilization. As a result, this period, which is also known as the “Golden Age”, has been subject to numerous studies from the perspectives of political, martial and economic history. Social history in this period has been investigated recently, gradually gaining more significance in the academic world.

This book investigates the subject of the work-life and professions of this era, one which has been studied less than its importance as being indispensable for social structure deserves.
