The period of later scholars in Qur&rsquo;anic exegesis is accepted to start with Jārullah al-Zamahsharī&rsquo;s al-Kashshāf. The most important reason for this is that Zamahsharī&rsquo;s understanding of exegesis and method has been determinant on the later activities of Qur&rsquo;anic exegesis and the later literature of Qur&rsquo;anic exegesis has been mainly shaped by the influence of al-Kashshāf. Given the extent of the books of commentaries, summaries, glosses and evaluations written about al-Kashshāf along with glosses over the glosses of it and original publications about it, we face a vast literature developed around this exegesis.&nbsp;

The works named in this book as Kashshāf literature constitutes the main vein of the classical exegesis tradition after Zamahsharī.&nbsp;

In this book, &ldquo;Kashshāf literature&rdquo; is identified and introduced, and then the conceptual relations within this literature are shown through examples. In the first part of the book, a chronological list of Kashshāf literature is presented and those which have survived to this day are briefly introduced in terms of their content, method, scope, sources and effects. Within this literature review, it is shown that ascribing some works to certain individual were wrong and library records had many mistakes. As for the second part of the book, the traces of conceptual relations of the texts in this literature are followed chronologically through two examples. This book is the most comprehensive one written in the field of manuscript literature and on the conceptual relations in this literature.

el-Keşşâf Literatürü: Zemahşerî’nin Tefsir Klasiğinin Etki Tarihi

al Irshād al-ʻaql al-salīm ilá mazāyā al-Kitāb al-karīm was published within the scope of ISAM Late Classical Period Project which was initiated in 2012. The work is 9 volumes in total, including one volume review of the work and the author, and bibliography. The tafsir of Shaykh al-Islam Abū al-Suʿūd Efendi, who was charged with the post of Shaykh al-Islam for around thirty years during the reign of Suleyman I and afterward, is one of the most important tafsir books in its field.

Although the book has many editions, the ISAM version of the work completes other editions&#39; shortcomings and errors in different aspects by using the author&#39;s version for the first time, containing over a thousand notes, and keeping the characteristics of the original text.

The domestic edition and distribution of the book is done by Turkiye Diyanet Foundation Publications and the international edition and distribution is done by Darulrayaheen Publications in Beirut.

This book aims to introduce Adududdīn al-Ījī, who left lasting effect in various scholarly fields including Islamic Theology, Methodology of Islamic Jurisprudence, Qur&rsquo;anic exegesis, Islamic creed, linguistics, and ethics, from various aspects. It is a compilation of mainly three groups of articles written by experts in their fields. In those articles, Ījī&rsquo;s life, his intellectual orientation, his environment, and views are presented. Moreover, the literature of commentaries and glosses written on his works has also been presented for the readers.

M. Taha Boyalık

He was in Edirne/Kesan on 1982. He graduated in Marmara University Faculty of Theology (2003). İn the same university&#39;s Instituate of Social Sciences, he accomplished his postgraduate which is named his postgraduate thesis &quot;Molla Fen&acirc;r&icirc;&rsquo;nin Aynu&rsquo;l-A&lsquo;y&acirc;n Tefsiri Mukaddimesi (Tahlil ve Degerlendirme)&rdquo; (2007), his doctorate with his study which is named his doctorate thesis &ldquo;Abdulk&acirc;hir el-Curc&acirc;n&icirc;&rsquo;nin Sozdizimi Teorisi ve Tefsir Gelenegine Etkisi&rdquo; (2014). He is still a lecturer in 29 Mayis University.
