İslâm Düşüncesinin Dönüşüm Çağında Fahreddin er-Râzî
Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī is the first and the most influential name of the Late Classical Period in which thoughts and works before Ghazzālī within the History of Islamic Thought re-evaluated. al-Rāzī, who wrote pieces in many different fields particularly in Kalām and philosophy, established the main distinctions of the disciplines and due to his reformation of the discipline of Kalām he later named justifiably as al-Imām. This book, which aims to introduce Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī from various aspects, is a collected work aiming to analyse the accumulation of scholarly knowledge produced within the field of Islamic studies in Turkey and to be an important source for the researchers. The book consists of four chapters; al-Rāzī’s life and his works, his importance in history of thought as well as his contributions to Islamic knowledge is examined within the first three chapters by considering the scholarly heritage before and after him to indicate his authenticity and to stress the transformation that he initiated. Criticisms about al-Rāzī is examined in the last chapter of the book.
